Who's a good boy? Huh? |
Horse Feathers is a blog for owners who board their horses at Dee's Barn. It's a place for us to communicate on any barn and or horse related issues including when we intend to be at the barn (it's always safer to ride when there are others there)! All members may post to the blog. Please keep your posts and comments as positive as you can (yes, even if you have had the day from h#*l).

Banamine
Hello all,
I was checking to see if anyone had possibly used my banamine that was in the refrigerator? I needed some on Saturday and my whole tube was missing. If you did please let me know so we can arrange repayment :)
Thanks!

Miss You Guys
Thanks for all the help trying to get Kholibrie into my trailer. Finally figured it out! A big shout out to Glorya for working through painful knees, which I understand fully! Miss you all... Kholbie is at the trainer until Saturday, and we should be back in the afternoon.
Also, wanted to let you know that we will be showing at Will Rogers Justin Arena in the Cowtown Classic Arabian Horse Show, March 15, 16, 17. Would love to have y'all come out. :-)

I have such a nice group of barn buddies...
Last night with the help of all my barn buddies, I was able to mount Regalo on the offside and walk around the arena. I could have cried with joy. He was perfect. He let me go over the railroad ties and step off of him. My little Trooper.

Hay Surcharge for March
Today Dee asked me to let the barn bloggers know that there is a hay surcharge of $28.41 for the month of March; please add this amount to your board check for March. Mike and Dee will let us know in re: to the surcharge for April closer to that time. Hopefully, they will be able to cut their own hay in May and the surcharge won't apply... Pray for enough rain at the right time!
Thanks, Glorya for posting the notice re: the Barn email list.
Thanks, Glorya for posting the notice re: the Barn email list.
Everyone needs to send phone number and email address to Mike and Dee and leave on the board for all of us to see. I will type up a list and send it out to everyone.
Email address is nikovichmike@aol.com
WE as the barn group need to be notified when HAY Changes and GRAIN Changes are made to our barn.
If we all work together and get and email and phone number list going to share, we will be able to pass more information along.
Remember a boarding stable only feeds your horse, it is your responsibly to takes care of your horse.
Always tell someone if you are going out of town or not able to come to the barn for a period of time. This barn is filled with kind and thoughful people that will take a look at your horse for you.
Any more concerns you can share here on the Blog or call me 817-291-5608
