New Year Eve Ride

We had a great ride at the barn today.  Lorna, Diane, Lynn, Cathrine, Jo and myself, all out  enjoying the sunshine with our horses. 


We want to start a patterns night, where we all do a certain pattern and learn it  together.   This way we will all focus on the pattern together and enjoy the time once again with our group.


Going out to ride tomorrow at 1:00 PM   Come and enjoy the sunshine.



I rode Pride out today in the woods and around the field.   Lynn, Catherine and Jo all had a chance to ride the TN Walker we have visiting the barn.

Thank goodness for warm weather!

This afternoon was so nice and Doc, even though it's been five days since I've worked with him, was respectful and sweet!  Jaime had dragged the arena and it was in good shape in spite of the rain from the last couple of days...just a few muddy spots.  Saw Lorna & Furbie, Katie and Pie. 

I'll be out again around 12:30 - 1:00 Thursday and Friday.  I'm back at work this coming Monday, so will be seeing you evening folks soon!

Just left barn

I finally made it out to the barn today at 4:30PM, sun was going down and it was cold.  I worked with the TN Walker that belongs to Jan (she is so sweet) and then on to Bailey.  We did some round pen and lunging.  Then on to a little riding.  I was out there by myself and it was very nice to be alone at there for a change.   Put blankets on both girls, fed them carrots and left at 7:00PM just as Catherine was coming in the barn.

Sunshine & Freezing Temps

The sun was shining, there wasn't a hint of a breeze, but it was too cold to ride today!  I took some carrots and the rest of Ginger's Christmas treats out to Doc and even though I had on my ski base layer pants and top beneath my jeans and turtleneck and jacket, I felt the chill!!!  Looking forward to warmer temperatures at the end of the upcoming week and plan on going out during the afternoons Wed., Thursday and Friday.

Good Grief! It's cold!

Hi, guys!  I went out this afternoon (around 1:30 P.M.) with the full intention of riding...but it was too cold.  If there had been a little sunlight, I could have managed.  As it was...I just gave Doc some of the Christmas treats that Ginger left (they smell great) and petted Cheatin, Furbie and Pepper (who's back, BTW).

If I don't see you before Christmas, have a very Merry one!!!
